HOW DO I BORROW A BOOK?

To borrow a book, visit Librarika.com
Create an account, by clicking “sign up”
Under “My Libraries” request member access to our library.
Our Library is called “https://ccjewish.librarika.com”
We will approve your account shortly.
Browse the library catalog and find a book you are interested in.
You can then either reserve or checkout.
Then come to Chabad to pick up the book(s).

WHAT TYPE OF BOOKS CAN I FIND?

This unique library boasts an extensive collection of English language Jewish books, catering to a wide range of interests and age groups. The library is now online for your perusal. Whether you are curious about Jewish history, eager to explore the depths of Jewish mysticism, seeking practical guidance on living a Jewish life, or looking for engaging children’s titles that teach Jewish values, our library has something for everyone. Our shelves are filled with a diverse selection of books on topics such as Jewish history, theology, philosophy, ethics, and spirituality. We also have an impressive collection of books on practical Judaism, providing guidance on Jewish rituals, holidays, and daily life. No matter where you are on your Jewish journey, our library is here to support and enrich your learning experience. 

HOW LONG CAN I BORROW A BOOK FOR?

You can borrow a book for up to 2 weeks from when you receive the book.
Please return your books on time, so that the next person can give them a read!

HOW MANY BOOKS CAN I BORROW AT A TIME?

You can borrow 2 books at a time.
This ensures that everyone can get their hands on a title that suites them.
Want to borrow more books? Sure, just return the ones you’ve got, and you can take out new ones!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

There are no fees to borrow books.
Just please make sure you treat the books with respect, and return them on time.

HOW DO I RETURN A BOOK?

When you are done reading and learning, please return the book to Chabad and we will mark it as returned on your library account.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE OR LOSE A BOOK?

Please treat the books with a great deal of love!
We want them to be around for a very long time.
If you do damage a book, please send it back to us as soon as possible, so that we can assess any damage, and, if possible, repair the book.
If you lose a book, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
You’ll be charged a fee to replace and/or repair the book, so we can get it back into our catalog.
